Yes. Everything we run starts free and stays free. There's no membership fee and no catch. If the community becomes part of your week and you'd like to chip in to help keep it going, that option exists, but it will never be the price of belonging.
Join through our WhatsApp community or the sign-up on this site, and come along to anything that takes your fancy. The Sunday morning beach walk is where most people start. No booking needed. Just show up.
Most people do. Turning up alone is the normal way in, not the exception, and you won't be the only new face. People here are warm, and someone will always say hello.
You arrive, someone welcomes you, and you walk and chat with whoever you fall into step with. There's no pressure, no spotlight and no awkward introductions in a circle. If you'd rather just listen at first, that's completely fine.
Not at all. The walks are relaxed and social, not a workout, and we have plenty going on that involves nothing more strenuous than a coffee or a quiz. Come as you are.
Comfortable shoes, something for the weather, and that's it. The coast does the rest.
Coastal walks, a run club, cold water dips, saunas, supper clubs, quizzes, sailing, padel and plenty more. Some are weekly and free. Others are occasional and may have a cost to cover the venue. There's a full list on our Events page.
Alongside the main community, we have smaller groups for specific interests, from running to dips to supper clubs. You join the ones that appeal to you and ignore the ones that don't. It's entirely up to you.
Never. Come to everything, come to one thing, or dip in and out as life allows. There's no register and no pressure.
Please do. Some of our events are even built around it. The more good people, the better.
Keeping this a safe, respectful space is the thing we take most seriously. We have clear standards, we apply them to everyone equally, and we act quickly and discreetly if anyone falls short. You can read more in the Safety section on our About Us page.
Tell us. One message to the admins is all it takes, and we'll handle it with care. Behaviour that crosses the line results in removal, and we'll always support the person on the receiving end.
Yes. We hold only what we need to run the community, we never sell or share it, and members are expected to respect each other's privacy too. The detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Dan and Natasha, two people who moved to the coast, couldn't find their people, and decided to build the thing they were looking for. It grew from there.
Yes. You'll need to be 21 or over to join. It's nothing more than making sure the community stays a comfortable, like-minded space for everyone in it, and it's a line we apply to everyone equally.
Of course. There's no lock-in. Stay as long as it's adding something to your life, and step away whenever you like.
The optional contribution helps cover the running costs. And honestly, the biggest help is simply showing up and making the next new person feel as welcome as you'd want to feel yourself.
